Location: Dahab is a unique tourist destination. Originally Dahab was an untouched palm fringed bay visited by Bedouins during the summer months for the fresh breeze and ample supply of fish. Gradually travellers discovered this hide away along the coast of the Red Sea and a few camps and beach side restaurants grew up. Today Dahab still retains the laid back atmosphere of its indigenous & friendly Bedouin population while offering the comfort, facilities & activities for visitors. It is excellent for snorkeling, diving, windsurfing and camel trekking, or for just "chilling out". There will also be the unique opportunity to:· snorkel and dive in one of the most stunning coral reefs in the world - 'try dives' available · Spend a night in the mountains on a camel safari with the Bedouins · Go horse back riding in the deserts and mountains on well cared for Arabian horses.
Accommodation is at the Blue Beach Hotel, which is situated on the beach, along from the lighthouse & has a swimming pool, diving school and stables for horse riding. All rooms have an en-suite shower room plus a terrace or balcony. Most also have air conditioning. Each day you will be served a vegetarian brunch.
Yoga: takes place twice a day at 8 am and 5 pm. There is one day without yoga (usually Wednesday) to allow you to sightsee or dive further a field. On some days a one 3 hour class in the morning may be taught instead of the two shorter classes so as to allow more time for trips, diving, snorkelling & exploring. Adapt for all level -- not suitable for absolute beginners -- It is recommended that you have attended a minimum of five beginner yoga classes.
Meal: A full nourishing breakfast is served by the poolside after the morning yoga session. For evening meals we either eat at the hotel restaurant, or eat in one of the many traditional sea front restaurants in the village.
