Inversion workshop — Immersion into inversions!

Master, or at least improve, your inversions!  Add stability and core strength to your inverted postures and receive more joy! Turn your world upside down and allow yourself the opportunity to see things in a new way.   Bringing the head beneath the heart in an inverted asana allows the body’s systems to calm and cool.  Giving the heart a well needed break, toning the internal organs, and reversing the blood flow are a few of the wonderful benefits of inversions.  Remaining in an inversion returns the natural glow to the face allowing your lightness to shine through freely.  

In this workshop we will explore handstand, headstand and shoulderstand. These poses have deep healing properties and strengthen mind/body connection. Facing our fears on the mat can offer us the gift of empowerment and clarity. We will integrate discussion and practice together with alignment principles, to deepen our understanding and ability to practise these beautiful and important postures. Those who are still mastering these challenging postures should not be afraid to give this workshop a try, as it is filled with an abundance of information on the mechanisms needed to achieve these poses in a super-safe and fun way.

Did I mention that its FUN!  Once you learn some of the fundamental techniques and add these to your body’s experiential practice you will love going upside down… 
Any level is welcome except absolute beginners unless you have done a beginners course with me!  Bring a friend!  Come and enjoy learning and laughing!
