Welcome to yoga with Margherita:
My very first yoga class
was in 1994
and it was as if I had started breathing for the first time and
feeling the person who I call "I". I started practising daily and my health, emotional well-being and my
whole life took on a positive transformation.
And
so, I began teaching in 2003.
My
first 200 hours Teacher Training was with Yoga
Campus London.
Thereafter I practised and studied with many gifted teachers –
totally over 800 hours of studies --
which included Purna Yoga --alignment based
style with Aadil Palhivala, vinyasa flow with Shiva Rea, and
Parayoga® with Rod Stryker with whom I am still studying and draw
inspiration from.
In
2008 I discovered the heart opening grace and therapeutics of
Anusara Yoga®, a style of hatha yoga that incorporates all the
aspects of yoga that I love. I have since studied and continue
studying with John Friend, the founder of Anusara Yoga, Sianna
Sherman, Bridget
Woods Kramer, Zhenja La Rosa, Ross Raybourn, Jayendra Hanley, Bruce Bowditch<
Marc St Pierre and Desiree Rumbaugh, attending teacher trainings,
therapeutic trainings and immersions.
It
is a great joy and honour to teach yoga. Passionate about sharing
the wonderful benefits of incorporating yoga into our lives, I see
yoga as a way to experience and celebrate our True Nature and
individual potential.
My
classes are powerful, contemplative, dynamic and challenging.
Guiding students with precise instructions, I endeavour to support
and inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of their
bodies, minds and hearts, unveiling their True Nature: to be
vibrant, joyful beings.
I
teach yoga classes, workshops and privates in London. I run retreats
in Italy, Kenya and in UK i teach workshops, classes and retreats focussing on opening,
strengthening, and healing various areas of the body. All workshops
and retreats include pranayama, meditation & asana practice.
My
life continues to expand and unfold in wondrous ways and continues
to expand my inner and outer world, bringing me strength and joy.
Being able to share yoga with so many people around the world is a
blessing and an honour. My deepest thanks to all my students and
teachers.
